Public Realms to join

Codes come from the people who run each Realm, and we read every one before it goes up. We cannot test codes, so if one does not work, press Report. Codes leave the list after 30 days unless the owner confirms they still work.

No public Realms yet

This list is new. Realm owners add their codes below, and each one appears here once we have read it. In the meantime, Bedrock servers are open to everyone with no code needed.

How to join a Realm with a code

Codes only work on the edition they were made for, so check the Bedrock or Java label first.

Bedrock Edition: Windows, phones, tablets, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

  1. Open the Realms tab

Sign in with your Microsoft account, choose Play and open the Realms tab.

  2. Choose Join Realm

Select Join Realm and type the invite code exactly as it is shown here. Capital letters matter.

  3. Accept the invite

Confirm Join Realm? and the Realm is added to your Realms list, so you can come back to it any time.

  • On a phone, tablet or PC you can open the Realm's realms.gg link instead, on the device you play on, and follow the prompt to join.
  • On Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, Realms need an online membership (Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate, PlayStation Plus, or Nintendo Switch Online) and cross-platform play switched on.

Java Edition

  1. Open Minecraft Realms

Start the latest release of Java Edition and choose Minecraft Realms on the title screen.

  2. Choose Join Realm

Select Join Realm and type the code into Enter Join Code, capital letters and all.

  3. Join

Choose Join Realm. You become a member, and the Realm stays in your Realms list.

  • Java invite codes arrived in Java Edition 26.3 on 15 September 2026. Older versions cannot join Realms at all, so update the launcher to the latest release.

Add your Realm

Run a Realm that is open to new players? Make a code that does not expire and send it in. Listing is free.

  1. Bedrock: make a link that lasts

In your Realm's settings, open Invite Links, add a link and switch on Set link to never expire. Copy the link or the code at the end of it.

  2. Java: create an invite code

Open Minecraft Realms, select your Realm and choose Configure, then Invite Codes and Create Invite Code. Set Expiration Date to Never and copy the code.

  3. Send it in

Sign in here, paste the code into the form below and say what your Realm is about. We read every one before it goes on the list.

FAQ

Minecraft Realms code questions

Realm not loading at all? Check whether Realms is down for Java and Bedrock.

How do I join a Minecraft Realm with a code?

On Bedrock, choose Play, open the Realms tab, select Join Realm and type the code. On Java Edition 26.3 or newer, choose Minecraft Realms on the title screen, select Join Realm and enter the code. You need to be signed in with a Microsoft account, and the code must be typed exactly, including capital letters.

Are Minecraft Realm codes safe to use?

Joining makes you a member of someone else's world, so treat it like any public server: the owner and their admins set the rules and can remove or ban players. We read every Realm on this page before it goes up, but we do not know the people who run them. Never share passwords or personal details, and you can leave a Realm at any time with Leave Realm.

Why doesn't my Realm code work?

The owner may have let it expire, switched it off or deleted it. The Realm can also be full, closed, or out of subscription. Check that you picked the right edition and typed the capital letters correctly, and on a console check your online membership. If a code on this page is dead, press Report so it can come down.

Can Java players join Bedrock Realms?

No. A Realm runs either Java Edition or Bedrock Edition, and only players on that edition can join it. Bedrock Realms work across Windows, phones, tablets, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. Every Realm on this page is marked Bedrock or Java.

How do I share my Realm code?

On Bedrock, add an invite link in your Realm's settings and set it to never expire. On Java, choose Configure on your Realm, then Invite Codes, and create a code with no expiry date. Then sign in here and send it with the form on this page. Only add a Realm you are happy for anyone to join.

Do Minecraft Realm codes expire?

Only if the owner sets them to. On both editions a code can last 30 minutes, 1, 6 or 12 hours, 1 day, 7 days, or never expire, and the owner can switch it off at any time. Codes on this page drop off after 30 days unless the owner confirms they still work, and come down once three different players report them.
