How Capture the Flag works
Two or more teams each defend a flag, usually a banner or wool block, in their base. Carry the enemy flag back to your own base to score, while your team defends yours. Players respawn, so matches are about coordination: attackers, defenders, and someone to escort the flag carrier. Many servers add classes or kits.

How do I join a Minecraft Java server?
Copy the server address, open Minecraft Java Edition, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server. Paste the address, save it, and select Join Server. Keep any port after a colon, and use the game version the server supports.
How do I join a server on Minecraft Bedrock?
Choose Play, open the Servers tab, scroll down, and select Add Server. Enter a name, the address, and the port (19132 unless the listing shows another), then save and join. Consoles only list featured servers by default, so joining other servers there usually needs an extra workaround.
