Help for Minecraft Server Status & Finder, the free NewMinecraftServers extension for Chrome.

Install or update

The extension will be available from the Chrome Web Store once its review is complete. Chrome then installs updates automatically.

Permissions

Storage
Keeps your optional username, favorites and short-lived cached results in your Chrome profile. It asks for no access to any website: server listings, Minecraft status and skins come from the public newminecraftservers.net API.

The extension does not read your browsing history, change websites, show advertisements or collect analytics.

Troubleshooting

  • Data is marked stale: reconnect to the internet and choose Retry.
  • A username is not found: check the spelling. Usernames are 3–16 letters, numbers or underscores.
  • No 3D skin: if your device cannot run 3D graphics, the extension shows a 2D preview instead.
  • Start fresh: remove your username and favorites, or reinstall the extension.
  • Want the normal new tab back: turn the extension off in chrome://extensions.
